OREANDA-NEWS. May 4, 2010. Austrian Kronospan Holding Ltd plans to create a woodworking production in Belarus, Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky said during his meeting with Peter Kaindl, director of Kronospan Holding Ltd.

According to Sidorsky, woodworking is a fast-developing industry with deep internal cooperation.

He said the proposal of Kronospan Holding Ltd fit into the Belarusian strategy of carrying out projects with borrowed and proprietary funds.

Kronospan Holding Ltd is interested in production of laminated floor coating, impregnated paper and OSB in Belarus.

The company may require up to USD 150 million in investments, will produce up to USD 120 million worth of products annually and create 300 jobs.
