OREANDA-NEWS. May 4, 2010. The Astrakhan branch of Ingosstrakh OJSIC has entered into an insurance contract with the peasant farm enterprise (PFE) of I.V. Tsoy located in the village of Pologoye Zaymishche of Akhtubinsk district of the Astrakhan Region. The insured item is the future harvest of onions in the area of 705 ha. The total insured amount is 32.6 mln rubles.

Pursuant to the terms of the contract, the future harvest has been insured against failure or partial loss due to the impact of natural phenomena, which may threaten the farming industry: frost-killing, light frosts, asphyxiation, soil overwetting, heavy rains, dust (sand) storms, hail, spring high water, drought and mud flow.

The insured property is subject of pledge with one of the state commercial banks on the loan obtained.
