OREANDA-NEWS. May 04, 2010. Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank Yuri V. Trushin became the laureate of the all-Russia anniversary award “The Best Banker of the Year” in 2009. The award ceremony was held in Moscow, reported the press-centre of Russian Agricultural Bank.

The award was initiated by the Expert and Consultation Council under the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Association of Russian Banks, Association of Regional Banks of Russia, State Agency for Deposit Insurance, Federal Treasury, the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation, and the “Financial Control” publishing house.

In 2009, Russian Agricultural Bank’s loan portfolio showed resilient growth in compliance with management plans. It grew by 32% and reached RUR 612 billion at YE2009. Total amount of loans extended by Russian Agricultural Bank in 2009 made RUR 445 billion – a 33% growth as compared to 2008.
