OREANDA-NEWS. May 04, 2010. OJSC Saratov Oil Refinery incorporated into TNK-BP has summed up the Q1 2010 results of the “5 Stars” competition program, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The “5 Stars” program is being implemented at the refinery since the beginning of 2010, an its main purpose is raising the level of industrial safety culture. Stars are assigned to managers of the refinery according to several indicators (labor discipline, adherence to health, industrial safety and environmental protection standards, compliance with quality standards, implementation of production plans, etc.). The best subdivisions are given cash awards.

Three groups of criteria related to labor conditions, hazardous industrial factors, and other aspects are used for objective evaluation of all participants of the program.
