OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2010. Collectors and common people took part in a unique race of classic cars last weekend. The race of US, Russian, European cars produced before 1970 attracted much attention of the public and GLONASS.

M2M Telematica became an information and technical partner of the project. Some automobiles were equipped with GLONASS/GPS, providing the opportunity to watch the rally live in the internet (http://www.m2m-t.ru/). 

The race was won by GLONASS’ed Moskvitch-412 IZh-rally.
Special award was also given to Lagonda LG-45 produced in 1936.

M2M Telematica presented GLONASS navigators to the winners. This is not the first time M2M maintains monitoring of the race. The company provided GLONASS-based internet monitoring capabilities during several rallies before.
