OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2010. Sibirtelecom opened a new sale and customer service office in Barnaul. 

The opening ceremony was marked by traditional cutting of a red ribbon and a firework. Among the guests of the ceremony were Maksim Sabyn, Acting Head of Administration of the Leninsky District; Yury Terentyev, Director of Altai Branch of Sibirtelecom; the Company partners, mass media representatives, and residents of the Leninsky districts.    

“Our main requirement to the office construction was comfort and convenience for customers,” said Yury Teretyev. “Sibirtelecom works for customers could be provided with services not distracting from their business, when walking along the avenue or in the park, on the way home or to a shopping center." 

The event for the citizens was stylized as a folk open-air party. Pesnokhorki National Theater of Folk Music presented the popular folk songs to all guests, hold competitions and round dances where the citizens were happy to take part in. The most active participants were awarded with corporate gifts from Sibirtelecom Company. At the same time the mass media representatives were guided a tour around the office. 

The newly built two-storey building with a total area of over  500 sq.m has a working space for consulting specialists, call boxes, chill-out area for customers with information about  the company services.  On the first floor of the office there is a wide screen, and any person can see the work of TVist interactive service: list the channels, view the video collection, and evaluate the quality. During four working hours of the new office over 100 persons used the company services.   As a rule the first customers were given presents.

The citizens in the new office can get advice on services; submit an application for the telephone installation, Internet connection, interactive television, different services, as well as pay for communication services through specialists or via terminals. In the near future on the second floor there will be a section for servicing legal entities.    

It should be reminded that the big multifunctional office in the dormitory area of Barnaul opens as a part of integration of customer service departments and their transfer to the places of mass residence. Twenty types of public transport are available to get to the new office of Sibirtelecom; a free parking lot is opened.  The requests of subscribers concerning working hours were taken into account: the new office is open 8 a.m. to 8 p. m. every day.
