OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2010. Sibirtelecom OJSC completed the transfer of subscribers of alternate operator Svyazpromstroi OJSC to its own telephone network.

The transfer of ex-subscribers of Svyazpromstroi to the local communications network began last year in April, first in the cities of Kansk and Minusinsk, then in Krasnoyarsk. It happened due to the termination of activity of Svyazpromstroi Company that had provided services of local telephone communication from 1993.

“Having been transferred to the new digital automatic exchanges of Sibirtelecom, our new subscribers can appreciate  at its true value the high quality of telephone connection and Internet access under the Webstream brand,” said Sergey Ivanov, Deputy General Director-Director of Krasnoyarsk branch of Sibirtelecom OJSC.

As a result of transfer of Svyazpromstroi subscribers to Sibirtelecom communications network, the contracts were renewed with 1419 individuals and legal entity subscribers, including 756 subscribers that were switched in Krasnoyarsk.
