OREANDA-NEWS. April 29, 2010. The Management Board of Rosneft appointed Pavel Fedorov as First Vice-President responsible for Finance and Economics, reported the press-centre of Rosneft.

In his new position, together with the team led by Peter O’Brien, Mr. Fedorov will be engaged in developing and implementing the Company’s financial strategy.

Mr. Fedorov has over 14 years of experience in the investment banking. Prior to joining Rosneft, he served as Managing Director responsible for banking projects in Russia, CIS and EU countries at Morgan Stanley and UBS, both in London and Moscow. Pavel Fedorov graduated from Novosibirsk State University and the University of Washington.

Commenting on the appointment, Sergey Bogdanchikov, the President of Rosneft, said: “This appointment highlights our focus on creation of the most qualified management team in the industry”.
