OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2010. According to March results passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 503 647 people, which is 28,9% more than it was in March 2009, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to foreign countries in March 2010 had a total enrolment of 192 502 people, which is 26,5% more than the number of passengers carried in March 2009.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 268 165 people, which is 31,1% more than in March 2009.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS increased by 25,5% and had a total enrolment of 42 980 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 14,1% in March 2010 and had a total enrolment of 6 904 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 229 089 tons, the increase is 8,6% as compared with the same period in 2009.

The 1st quarter results of 2010

According to the 1st quarter of 2010 results passenger traffic of Pulkovo Airport had a total enrolment of 1 422 519 people, which is 29,0% more than the activities of the 1st quarter of 2009, including:

International airlines passenger traffic to the foreign countries for the 1st quarter in 2010 had a total enrolment of 549 384 people, which is 22,1% more than the number of passengers, carried during the 1st quarter in 2009.

Domestic airlines passenger traffic had a total enrolment of 758 548 people, which is 37,0% more than during the 1st quarter in 2009.

Passenger traffic to the countries of CIS increased by 15,6% and had a total enrolment of 114 587 people.

The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 12,1% during the 1st quarter in 2010 and had a total enrolment of 19 460 takeoffs and landings. The volume of handled gross take-off weight (GTOW) is 647 537 tons, the increase is 6,9% as compared with the same period in 2009.
