OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2010. Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation, OJSC Central Office (Krasnoyarsk) paid RUR 113,4 thousand reinsurance recovery to LLC “Insurance company “Аdonis” (Perm) for death of the person insured against personal accidents and deceases. The insured died because the fire was in the nightclub “Khromaya loshad”. Risk was accepted under obligatory treaty. 

156 persons were lost as a result of the fire in the club “Khromaya loshad” in Perm, which took place on 5 December 2009. The fire became the largest regarding a number of victims in modern Russia. This sad event has caused a huge public resonance and, as consequence, – hard reaction of the Government. During proceeding investigation of reasons of incident and revealing of culprits, variety of officials and officials of fire supervision were dismissed, and the Government of Perm territory was retired in full.

Death of the insured was admitted as insured event. The total loss made up RUR 765.4 thousand. After receipt of full loss portfolio Transsiberian Re Central Office paid RUR 113 391.59 of its share.
