OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2010. Akif Mustafayev, TRACECA national secretary on behalf of Azerbaijan, says that preparation for a special session on the issue of TRACECA competitive recovery is under way.

“It is scheduled for 25 May in Antalya, Turkey. The session will involve national secretaries and representatives of transport departments and companies,” he said.

The European Commission will give traditional support to the session.

Two directions of TRACECA have formed by the present – central (through Georgia and Azerbaijan) and southern (through Turkey and Iran). The main rival for them is northern route through Russia.
