Specialists of SITRONICS IT Obtained TOP GUN Rank from IBM
OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2010. Training-seminar on server systems “Х” (IBM System X) and sales methods (Portfolio Top Gun Class) was held in IBM Moscow office, reported the press-centre of SITRONICS.
The event took place under auspices of American specialists of IBM. Among the seminar participants were engineers, designers of IT-systems, technical specialists, marketing and sales managers from among IBM partner-companies. Representatives of IGF Россия, VMWare, BNТ and many other took part in the training.
In the course of event trainees were provided with both technological and marketing aspects related to IBM server systems. Participants were familiarized with architecture and basic functioning principles of X series servers. Separate training unit was dedicated to basics of promotion and sales of IBM server systems as well as building up motivation to purchase making and development prospects of server system market.
By tradition participants of IBM seminar passed test twice – prior to start of training and following results of the seminar for evaluation of level of obtained knowledge. Besides intermediate test were conducted every day. Main practical unit of the seminar consisted in preparation by all students of their own presentations on set business task and subsequent submission of them for evaluation of trainers.
“Business tasks of IBM training are always maximally close to reality and reflect daily problems which customer’s IT specialists face, - comments Nadezhda Soldatenko, Head of project sales support department of SITRONICS IT. – Among such problems usually are scarcity of labour, insufficient space for hardware installation, necessity to increase reliability or optimization of costs for IT”.
Every student must defend his project doing presentation in English in front of training committee that consists of IBM instructors and sales managers. “In the course of presentation students state customer problems, offer ways of their solving, provide calculations of cost and other aspects of complex IT projects. Since obtaining of TOP GUN requires maximal mark on each task, the mark for presentation was the highest in class (А+)”, - adds N. Soldatenko.
Following the results of training the highest mark and high rank TOP GUN will be obtained by not more than 5% of the whole class. This time TOP GUN rank was awarded only to 5 persons among whom 3 are team of SITRONICS IT specialists. On behalf of all collective we congratulate winners among who are:
