OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2010. In March, ROSNO paid over 300 million roubles under MOD contracts. The three largest MOD payments made in Moscow exceeded 9 mln roubles in total, with all cars having been damaged in traffic accidents, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.   

The Scania P380CB8X4EHZ dump truck, purchased on leasing and insured by the lessor in Moscow, got in a traffic accident in the Kemerovo Region. The vehicle collided with the BelAZ dump truck. As a result of this traffic accident, the SCANIA dump truck sustained mechanical damage and was recognized as damaged beyond repair and classified as constructive loss. The insurance compensation paid to the owner (a leasing company) equalled 3,875,122 roubles.

The driver of the MAN truck, series TGA 18.390 (manufactured in 2008), insured with ROSNO, lost control of the vehicle on the 597th km of the highway "Russia" in the Tosnensky district (the St. Petersburg Region). The vehicle skidded off the road and collided with a residential building. As a result of this traffic accident, the vehicle sustained mechanical damage and was recognized as damaged beyond repair and classified as constructive loss. The insurance compensation paid to the owner (a legal entity) equaled 2,718,390 roubles.

The Audi A6 car, manufactured in 2008, got in a traffic accident in Moscow, at the intersection between Volgogradsky Avenue and Lyublinskaya Street. While observability was hindered by the bus moving along to the left, the Audi driver failed to notice the Chevrolet car and collided therewith. As a result of this traffic accident, the vehicle sustained mechanical damage and was recognized as damaged beyond repair and classified as complete loss. The insurance compensation paid to the owner (an individual) equaled 2,531,836 roubles.
