OREANDA-NEWS. April 23, 2010. Moscow region is one of the leaders in introduction of the GLONASS transport monitoring system. For example, Mostransavto has installed GLONASS equipment on 100% of its buses, thus improving quality of public transport services.

Totally, about 5000 vehicles in the region are equipped with GLONASS today.

Communal transport is to be also equipped with navigation receivers in 2010, in order to enhance service quality and to reduce budget expenses.
