OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2010. Tourist potential of the Republic of Karelia was for the first time presented in Tatarstan at the XV Tourism Industry Specialized Exhibition held in Kazan in Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Center, Inc.

The Republic of Tatarstan is currently recognized as one of the regions possessing the most stable economy and high incomes of the population, and the tourist market of the republic is sustained and perspective in terms of cooperation.

Within the framework of partnership and cooperation in the sphere of development of tourism organizers of the exhibition have granted equipped exhibition area to the Ministry of Economic Development of the RK free-of-charge for presentation of tourist potential of our northern region.

Tourist offers at the stand of the Republic of Karelia were introduced by travel agencies of Lukomorie, Inc., (director Olga Lukina) and Conference-Bureau, Inc., (director Vladimir Kucherenko). The exposition and tourist products of Karelia have caused great interest among visitors of the exhibition and professionals of tourist industry.
