OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2010. OAO AIKB Tatfondbank won the 1st place in the 10th Internet-Championship in banking legislation. All in all, 48 teams representing 20 Russian regions took part in the competition, reported the press-centre of Tatfondbank.

The teams of banks, branches and additional offices of different banks competed yesterday from 6:00 to 22:00 in banking legislation. On real-time basis, the participants were answering questions related to regulatory documents of the Bank of Russia and other acts regulating the activities of credit institutions.

The Internet-Championship is held annually by VEP Agency with support of the territorial bodies of the Bank of Russia, banking associations and unions, the Deposit Insurance Agency, and Rosfinmonitoring. All in all, over 400 teams from more than 70 regions of the country took part in the Internet-Championship over 10 years of its existence.

The organisers of the competition stated at the Championship official web site that Tatfondbank showed a splendid result and gained a confident victory, and congratulated “the Republic of Tatarstan, which became the banking capital following the results of the 10th interbank Internet-Championship”.
