OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2010. The head architect of Moscow, Aleksandr Kuzmin, is assured a draft general plan to develop the Russian capital scheduled till 2025 should be adopted at the third reading by the end of April.

“We have taken into account everything we can currently take into account. The general plan has been updated according to Muscovites' wishes. Therefore I believe there is no point in delaying its adoption,” the official said at a press conference in Moscow on April 14.

Mr Kuzmin emphasized that another essential task was to elaborate how the general development plan of Moscow would be implemented.

The public hearings held before indicate that Muscovites are mostly waiting for new sports facilities, kindergartens and clinics.
