AccessBank Opens Second Branch in Ganja City
OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2010. The bank informs that the opening of the new "Nizami" branch increased the number of AccessBank branches to 24. The opening of a second branch in the Ganja city was motivated by the success of the first branch, which, in less than over five years, developed such a large client base that could no longer be served by one branch. In general, the Ganja branches now serve over 11,000 clients. Oksana Aliyeva was appointed branch manager of the new Nizami branch – she started her professional banking career in the Ganja branch of AccessBank.
Branch manager of "Nizami" branch Oksana Aliyeva commented on the opening of the new branch: "The location of the new branch in the center of the city will enable us to satisfy all the requirements of the local population in operation services, to provide individual approach and high-quality services to the customers".
General Manager of AccessBank, Andrew Pospielovsky, commented on the opening of the new branch by saying: "We are pleased that with the opening of our second branch in Ganja we will be able to serve our clients even better in the Ganja city".
"Nizami" branch provides to both individuals and legal entities, a wide range of non-credit bank services, including opening of accounts and deposits, Visa plastic cards, in addition, granting of consumer loans, a variety of money transfer systems and cash operations.
The international Fitch Ratings Agency has recognised AccessBank as the most reliable bank of Azerbaijan (BB+). AccessBank is 100% foreign owned by six shareholders, consisting of: the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, KfW Development Bank – the Development Bank of the German Government (20% per each), Access Microfinance Holding acting in microfinance field as a strategic investor (16.5%), and LFS Financial Systems GmbH – a German consulting company (3.5%).
