OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2010. Belarus’ internal debt increased 3.9% on the month in February to 8.292 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of March 1, 2010, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry told.

Belarus’ internal debt rose 4.6% in the first two months in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by Br 405 billion in January-February 2010, or 2% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 29.8%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 70.2%.
