Seventh Continent 1Q 2010 Trade Sales Increased 23% YoY
OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2010. JSC “The Seventh Continent” (further referred to as the Company) 1Q 2010 trade sales in USD terms increased 23% YoY, reported the press-centre of The Seventh Continent.
The growth in sales in USD terms in the hypermarket format for 1Q 2010 reached 33%. The growth in regional sales in USD terms for 1Q 2010 reached 26% YoY.
Based on management accounts the Company’s 1Q 2010 gross retail sales[1] reached 12 466 mn. rubles or USD 417 mn.
The number of customers for the 1Q 2010 reached 10%.
Like-For-Like sales (LFL) in USD terms increased 19.2%, number of customers (LFL) has grown 7.0%.
As of 31 March 2010, in accordance with management accounts, the Company's consolidated debt accounts for 8.4 bln. rubles. During 2010 the Company will repay 3.67 bln. rubles of its consolidated debt.
