OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2010. The International Forum "Interstroyexpo 2010", which has opened in St. Petersburg, is devoted to the problems of construction industry development and promotion of new technologies, equipment and materials.

The large meeting of builders is conducted under the patronage of the Russian Chamber of Industry and Trade. The event gathers over 500participating companies from 11 countries, such as Belarus, Germany, Italy, Turkey, France, Finland, Czech Republic, and 23 Russian Federal subjects.

The representatives of St. Petersburg Company "Primexpo", the main project sponsor, consider that "Interstroyexpo 2010" should be regarded as the key event for the Russian construction industry.

It is essential for the country to determine the development priorities in this sphere during the post-crises period, and such specialized forum will make for it.  There are 17 thematic exhibitions, currently working at "Lenexpo" fairgrounds, which cover most aspects of house-building, power supply, decoration and insulation materials, water supply, specialized vehicles and design. There are several "smart house" projects, equipped with the systems of house management and related software.  Exhibition exposition has taken 5 pavilions and outdoor demonstration grounds.

Event business program includes: the congress "Construction industry in the Russian Regions - reality and development perspectives", all-Russian convention focused on the problem of self-administration for the construction companies, conferences, devoted to heating systems, heat-insulated materials, and consultations with specialists.  There will be a summation and award ceremony for the annual contest "Builder of the year".  The opening ceremony of the First Russian Builders' Competition "Stroymaster 2010" will also be conducted in the framework of the Forum's program.
