OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2010. Enterprise Estonia (EAS) and Estonian companies will take part with a joint national stand in the world's biggest technology and industrial fair in Hannover, Germany, from 19 to 23 April.

This time the aim of the participation is to present Estonia as an evironment with numerous opportunities for the integration of industrial companies, technology and research where companies, universities, research institutions and the production and IT sectors are involved in strong cooperation, EAS said.

"Several foreign countries' companies have brought their research and production activity to Estonia, because it is easy to launch enterpise here, operation is simple and the environment favorable for foreign investments," Allar Korjas, director of the EAS export director, said.

"Besides, applied sciences are taught at the country's universities at a good level, and there is close cooperation between sectors. As a good example we can name the Massi Miliano virtual fitting room that has drawn a lot of international attention last year," Korjas added.

EAS and entrepreneurs are going to take part in the Hannover fair for the second time, with the prticipation financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The creator of Massi Miliano, Renard Motorcycles, the author of first Estonian-built motorbike, and 3D Technologies that permits visualization of 3D products are represented in the common stand.

Beside, the BLTR machine building, which has created a unique base for the installation of wind generators in the sea, will take part in the fair.

Other companies represented are Harju Elekter, Interconnect Product Assembly, Konesko, Goliath Wind, Saku Metall, TTU, the Innovational Machine-Building Production Systems Technology Development Center (IMECC) and the Estonian Machine-Building Association.
