OREANDA-NEWS. April 14, 2010. Yuri V. Trushin, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank attended the XXI Congress of the Association of Russian Banks, held in Moscow, reported the press-centre of RusAg.

The participants discussed the issues of Russian banking sector development, ways of the Russia’s economy modernization, and the scales of lending support to the real sectors of the national economy.

In 2009, RusAg was among those banks that increased scales of lending. The growth rate of the Bank’s loan portfolio totaled 32%. In 2010, the Bank is expected to further expand its loan portfolio by 34% to RUR 820 billion.

Today, RusAg accounts for more than 50% of agribusiness lending in Russia and more than 80% of SMEs lending in rural areas, including personal household plots, farms and consumer cooperatives.
