OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2010. According to a press-service release, Azovmash has developed and produced a test model of a thermo-insulated railway car for transportation of food cargoes. At the moment, the new thermo car is being tested for thermo technical qualities. At the same time, the press service of the Company did not specify the designing costs or a plan for the volume of manufacturing such cars.

Millennium Capital sees this news as positive for Azovmash Concern and for its component parts – Azovzahalmash <AZGM UK HOLD> and Mariupol Heavy Machinery plant <MZVM UK BUY>. The diversification of its production increases the Company’s competitiveness and characterizes it as being able to better heed the market needs.
