OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2010. The Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Azerbaijan has refused in licensing activity of each seventh available or being-constructed hotel.

Culture & tourism minister Abulfaz Garayev says that about 50 new hotels are under construction in the country.

“300 hotels have been already licensed by the Ministry, 30 have applied for license, and 50 ones have been refused in license,” the minister said.

By 2015 number of seats in the Azerbaijani hotels is going to increase up to 30,000.
