OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2010. Moscow hosted the 13th International Salon of inventions and innovative technologies "Archimedes-2010", where OAO Tatneft received five gold, four silver and two bronze medals. Following the decision of the international jury TATNEFT was awarded a diploma "Trademark Leader-2010" and a gold medal for the active use of the Company's trademark, reported the press-centre of Tatneft.

"STOCK-101 Contaminants Analyzer in the Wastewater Flow" was among the inventions and industrial designs submitted by Tatneft, which was awarded gold and bronze medals.

Gold medals were obtained for the inventions "Method of developing oil deposits with low-permeability reservoirs" and "Installation for dual completion and production of two layers".

A gold medal and a diploma of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks was awarded for the development of "Multiphase pump/compressor systems for transportation of the well produced fluids with high gas content".

Silver medals were obtained for patents: "Development method of extra-viscous oil or bitumen deposits", "Oil recovery enhancement technology with application of composite xanthan biopolymer based systems" ("Xanthan" technology), "A sidetrack wellbore drilling device (wedge type deflecting tool)", "Technology of increasing depletion of productive strata at the late stage of oil field development with application of the liquid glass based viscoelastic colloidal suspension" (VUKSZHS technology).

Bronze medal was awarded for the development of the "System for using watered out oil wells in the organization of the formation pressure maintenance with application of interwell pumping technology".

Active participation of TATNEFT in organizing and conducting the Salon was noted by the Diploma of reverence and gratitude, and the Company's fruitful work to promote intellectual property was noted by the Diploma of the Croatian Union of Inventors.
