Trade Flows via Sochi Customs Falls 30.8% in 2010
OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2010. Trade flows passing through the Sochi Customs in the 1st quarter of 2010 decreased by 30.8% as compared with same period last year, to USD 70.9 million. In Jan.-Mar., 2010 cargo turnover also declined by 15% (just 84.1 thousand tons). In Q1, 2010 imported cargoes amounted to 90% while exports to 10% (95.4% and 4.6% in Q1, 2009), the Southern Customs Directorate statement said.
In Jan.-Mar., 2010 the Southern Customs has completed 1.273 cargo customs declarations, 95.9% from Q1, 2009. The Customs said, there have been more foreign trade participants this Q1, a 10.8% increase.
This Jan.-Mar., the S. Customs transferred 470.161.000 rubles to the budget, 67.9% from projected and up 54.51% over the same period in 2009.
