OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2010. Banca Comerciala Romana Chisinau S.A. (BCR Chisinau) together with the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in Moldova has inaugurated the BCR Aula Austria within the Free International University of Moldova (ULIM).

The support offered by BCR Chisinau, in partnership with the Austrian Embassy in Moldova, allowed the equipping of a study room within the ULIM with performed technical equipment, composed of multimedia, audio and video systems, which will facilitate the application of the most advanced interactive methods of teaching on electronic support.

The President of Banca Comerciala Romana Chisinau S.A., Mr. Sorin Andrei, together with His Excellency, Mr. Michael Spindelegger, Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, and Mr. Andrei Galben, ULIM’s Rector has participated at the opening ceremony of BCR Aula Austria.

On this occasion, the Guest of Honour of this event, Mr. Michael Spindelegger, addressed to the students of the University a message regarding the role of the qualitative education in developing the Moldovan economic field, as well as, about the bilateral relations between Austria and R. of Moldova.„Launching the BCR Aula Austria within the ULIM is one of a first initiative of the Banca Comerciala Romana Chisinau for supporting the development of Moldovan high education and of improving the quality of labor force on the local market, - declared Mr. Sorin Andrei, President of Banca Comerciala Romana Chisinau S.A. „Over the years, many graduates from ULIM managed to build a successful career both in Moldova and abroad. Such results are also due to the important contribution of the institutions that offer us their support, with the noble aim to provide the students with the best educational conditions-, said Mr Andrei Galben, ULIM’s rector.

The launch of the BCR Aula Austria is among the most significant initiatives of a private company in support of the educational system in Moldova and of forming human resources value.
