OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2010. SOCAR says that for the past quarter gas supplies to consumers in the country totaled 2.98 bn cu m that is by 462.769 million cu m more against the forecast.

In addition, 618.637 million cu m of gas from the underground gas storages was directed for gas supply. As a result, industrial sector, national electric company Azerenerji and the population were delivered 3.178 bn cu m of gas for the 1st quarter of the year.

By the beginning of winter period 2009/10 SOCAR pumped more than 1.8 bn cu m into gas storages.
