OREANDA-NEWS. April 09, 2010. What new items have appeared in the laundry and cleaning equipment market? What floor cleansers are available? What are the new household chemicals? All these questions will be answered at the specialised exhibition held by Iteca – CleanExpo Central Asia 2010, which is to be held in Almaty on 21-23 April, simultaneously with HOREX.

CleanExpo Central Asia is unique, and its annual exhibitors include manufacturers and distributors of cleansers and detergents, equipment for dry cleaners and laundries, and cleaning equipment. The exhibition will take place in Pavilion 9 at Atakent Exhibition Centre, simultaneously with HOREX 2010, an exhibition of the hospitality industry.

“CleanExpo СА 2010 exhibitors include 20 companies from Kazakhstan, Russia and the United States. Notably, local companies form the core pool of exhibitors,” says Alyona Aprosimova, CleanExpo CA Project Manager. “In 2007, two of our events – HOREX and CleanExpo CA – have already been held on the same days, and their results were positive. According to a marketing survey, most visitors to our exhibition are either owners or managers of hotels and restaurants. Therefore, the simultaneous exhibitions of the hospitality industry and the cleaning industry are only logical and effective. I think specialists of the hotel, restaurant and cleaning industries will be able to solve different business issues in one place”.

As a rule, specialised exhibitions feature an interesting agenda which includes workshops and master classes held during these events. This year’s CleanExpo CA offers workshops on the following topics: Laundry Equipment – New Items and Updates by Domus; Floor Covers by ЗМ; Cleaning – Equipment and Consumables by KazTechnologyPack; and Laundry Equipment – New Lines and Machine Software by Alliance, a US company. The roundtable Contractor-Customer Conflicts. Solution Practices. Judicial Precedents promises to be of a great use and interest. It will be held in the afternoon on 21 April by Adal League of Consumers. The exhibition will also feature a presentation workshop by Kazakhstan’s first Cleaning School. On Day Three, 23 April, the workshop room in Pavilion 9 will host the traditional competition, The Best Dry Cleaner 2010. The jury will include experts and management of Central Asian Cleaning Association who organised this contest.

CleanExpo Central Asia 2010 is especially important during the period when the service market – as well as small and medium businesses – form and develop. The market-based economy requires deeper cooperation and integration of commercial and economic links, and these specialised exhibitions make a significant contribution in this effort.
