OREANDA-NEWS. April 09, 2010. Experts of FBK’s Public Sector Consulting Department conducted final seminar on results of sub-project Elaboration of methodical recommendations for application of classification of transactions of state management sector of the project of Russian Ministry of Finance and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development Modernization of Treasury System of Russian Federation.

Within the seminar, Sergey Romanov, Deputy Director of Department of Budget Policy and Methodology of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, Svetlana Levit, Deputy Head of Department for National Accounts of Federal Service of State Statistics, Irina Dubinina, Deputy Director of FBK’s Public Sector Consulting Department delivered their reports. Results of sub-project were highly prized by heads of Russian Ministry of Finance and Russian Statistical Service. At the same time, professionals of both departments emphasized that work of FBK consultants helped in establishing efficient interaction between Russian Ministry of Finance and Russian Statistical Service, so, when solving issues of integration of international standards of macroeconomic statistics into Russian System of budget accounting, reporting and budget classification.

Heads of financial departments of federal authorities of executive power as well as of a number of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, municipal departments and major budget entities. According to the results of the meeting a lot of participants expressed their interest in holding similar seminars in Moscow and in regions.
