OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2010. The Russian customs bodies transferred a total of RUB 888.78bn (approx. USD 30.42bn) to the federal budget in the first quarter of 2010, or 111.38 percent of the target figure, the press office of the Federal Customs Service announced yesterday.

This amount is 35.7 percent greater than the sum transferred in Q1 2009.

In March alone, customs bodies transferred RUB 348.94bn (approx. USD 11.94bn), 46.3 percent more than in March of last year and 18 percent more than in February of this year.
