OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2010. In February, 2010, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) registered growth of money quantity (M2) by AZN 5.4  million (0.26%) last month versus January. M2 increased by AZN 88.2 million (1.45%) against growth for 2008 by AZN 1.985 bn (48.5%).

CBA informed that on 1st March 2010 M2 index totaled AZN 5.85 bn versus AZN 5.837 bn on 1st February and AZN 6.169 bn on 1st January 2010.

At the same time, cash money mass (M0) grew by 2.8% (AZN 111.1  million).

As of 1st March 2010, M0 index reached AZN 4.08 bn against AZN 3.97 bn and  AZN 4.17 bn.

On 1 March 2010, broad money supply (M3) totaled AZN 8.1 bn versus AZN 8.1 bn and AZN 8.469 bn respectively, while transaction money made up AZN 4.98 bn versus AZN 4.857 bn and AZN AZN 5.239 bn.

On  1st March 2010, exchange rate was AZN 0.8034 to the US dollar.
