OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2010. Air navigation services at Tartu Ulenurme (EETU;TAY) aerodrome are provided by Estonian ANS.
According to the framework agreement signed on 15 September 2009 on the provision of air navigation services at four Estonian aerodromes (Tartu, Kuressaare, Kardla and Parnu) to be taken over by Estonian ANS from Tallinn Airport.
The project started in Tartu, and during 2010 the preparations for the takeover of the services at other aerodromes will be continued.
The establishment of a single of ANS provider in Estonian airspace and Tallinn FIR creates new conditions for improving the quality and sustainability of the provision of air traffic services at local aerodromes.
The existing pricelist for the air navigation services provided to customers will remain unchanged and the invoices will be issued by Tallinn Airport, like previously.
Estonian ANS is introducing a new service - on-line preflight preparation, i.e. Self Briefing, allowing provision of Aeronautical Information services in virtual environment free of charge.
