OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2010. A round table entitled “Living Volga: Biological Equilibrium and Biological Diversity” has been held at Saratov Refinery (a subsidiary of TNK-BP). Taking part in the event were specialists from the refinery’s environmental protection section, sanitary lab and environmental first aid unit, who discussed how industrial activity is affecting the Volga, protection of water resources and individual responsibility for the future of that great Russian river.

The participants reached the conclusion that compliance with environmental regulations is not only a priority requirement for all industrial enterprises, but also a daily objective for everyone who works at Saratov Refinery.
