OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2010. OJSC KAMAZ participated in the seminar and conference devoted to the issues of development of the Tatarstan agricultural complex and the exhibition organized by the RT Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

The events were held in Korsa village (Arsk Region, Tatarstan Republic) from 24 to 28 February. KAMAZ prepared a range of models of modernized agricultural equipment for the exhibition.

The model of a refrigerated van 57509 on KAMAZ-4308 chassis was brought to would-be users’ attention. The frameless van made of sandwich panels designed for transportation of cut carcasses and other perishable goods is produced with the use of Lamilux fibre glass reinforced plastic. The interior structure of the van is made with the use of OEM components produced by Pastore & Lombardi and the Thermo King V500max30 refrigerating and warming unit with a supplementary electric drive. This equipment guarantees that products will be kept in the proper storage temperature mode during the whole way. KAMAZ-4308 chassis is equipped with a Cummins engine of 185 h.p. meeting Euro-3 standards.

A combination of a dumper truck 68901 on KAMAZ-65115 chassis (6x4) and a trailer 85310A was of a heightened interest to specialists. It is intended for transportation of diverse loose construction, industrial and agricultural goods. This model proved to be excellent for maneuvering by unloading when it operated under conditions of restricted space. The dumper is equipped with a brand engine of 280 h.p. corresponding to the Euro-3 standard. The rig will undoubtedly be widely used in agriculture where receiving bins provide for two options of unloading – side and rear unloading.

A new vehicle with improved consumer properties – KAMAZ-65117 with sides and an awning – is able to perform a broad spectrum of tasks. It is equipped with a brand-name turbo-charged disel engine of 280 h.p. with intermediate air-cooling. The vehicle with a carrying capacity of up to 14 t has got a platform with drop sides, and beign fully loaded it can make up to 90 km/h and successfully climb up to 25°.
