OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2010. The State Corporation “Deposit Insurance Agency” (DIA) informs about summarizing competition results for filling up a vacant position of DIA Representative Head in the Siberian Federal District (SFD). Konstantin Vasiliev was appointed the head of the SFD representative office.

In 1992 Mr. Vasiliev graduated from Barnaul Higher Military Aviation School training pilots. In 2003 he graduated from Siberian Government Service Academy majoring in law science. From 1995 to 2000 Mr. Vasiliev worked for investment companies, and from 2002 he specialized in the banking business. He started as deputy chief of securities division at the Novosibirsk Municipal bank, and several years later acted as head of asset-liabilities operations department. In 2005 Mr. Vasiliev moved to the BINBANK, where he worked as branch head. In 2009 he returned to the Novosibirsk Municipal bank to work as its Deputy General Director.

On March 31, 2010 Mr. Vasiliev was appointed the Head of DIA representative office in the Siberian Federal District.

DIA representative office at the Siberian Federal District was opened in January 2009. The main goals of DIA representative offices are: informing and clarifying for the public about goals and objectives of DIA activities; interacting with DIS member banks; assisting in the organization of insured deposit payouts and bankruptcy (liquidation) proceedings in credit institutions located on federal districts’ territory, as well as facilitating DIA interaction with local government bodies.
