OREANDA-NEWS. April 05, 2010. The Belarusian Currency & Stock Exchange (BCSE) informs about the foreign currency trade totals in March 2010.

In March 2010, the transaction turnover amounted to BYR 4 379.57 bn (BYR 3 590.86 bn in February 2010). The trade volume increased 22.0% compared to February 2010.

USD 858.2 m, RUB 7 123.2 m, EUR 277.4 m and other currency amounting to BYR 6 050.7 m in equivalent were sold at the trades in March 2010.

The unit weight of foreign currency in the trade volume in March 2010 was USD – 58.0%, RUR – 16.3%, EUR – 25.5%, and other currencies – 0.2%.

Average daily transaction volume amounted to USD 39.01 m, RUB 323.78 m and EUR 12.61 m.

March quotations changed as follows: USD +48.00 points, RUB +2.41 points, EUR +22.00 points.
