OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2010. In Q4 2009, the Current Account Balance (CAB) of the country’s balance of payments was in surplus of LTL 2.4 billion or 10% of gross domestic product (GDP). Compared to Q3, it grew by LTL 1.4 billion or 2.4 times. In 2009, CAB surplus amounted to LTL 3.5 billion or 3.8% of GDP. For Q4 2008, the deficit on CAB made up LTL 1.2 billion and for 2008 it made up LTL 13.3 billion, accounting respectively for -4.4 and -11.9% of GDP.
