OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2010. Campaign on fund raising amounting to one-day wages was announced among the company’s employees on the eve of Nauryz. KEGOC 4 thousand personnel voluntarily transferred KZT 12 mln 564 thousand to the aid fund for victims of dam failure in Almaty Oblast. The funds in the said amount were transferred to the account of Emergency Situations Ministry on 26 March 2010. KEGOC Executive Administration, Regional Branches and Subsidiaries employees participated in the campaign.

Moreover, at the initiative of primary party organization People’s Democratic Party Nurotan, the capital office employees collected more then 500 pieces of clothing and living essentials for countrymen injured in the emergency situation in Aksusky and Karatalsky Regions of Almaty Oblast. The cargo was forwarded from Astana with the assistance and coordination of youth wing of the capital branch Zhas-Otan on 17 March this year.
