OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2010. The first meeting of Private Banking Committee, which has been created on the basis of the Association of Ukrainian Banks (the AUB) under the participation of banks, took place at the premises of the Association. The participants of the meeting were: Volodymyr Bondar, the First Vice-President of the AUB, Oleksiy Kusch, Adviser to the AUB President and representatives of commercial banks-members of the AUB.

In the course of the meeting, the participants stressed upon today’s active process of formation of modern private banking market in Ukraine. In this respect, such issues as standardization of transactions, adjustment of advanced banking technologies, coordination of efforts applied by the market players, improvement of legal basis, conduct of training and informative events on Private Banking issues are of great importance today.

“Private Banking Committee will be a universal communication platform for all professional Private Banking market players”, said Oleksiy Aleksandrov, Assistant Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “UkrSibbank” BNP Paribas Group, Head of Private Banking Department. – “Creation of the Committee is very important for further development of Private Banking in Ukraine”.

The participants of the meeting took decision on holding the Committee meetings on regular basis and called upon all interested Private Banking market players to join the Committee.
