Eurasian Development Bank Becomes Member of ISDA
OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2010. Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), bonds of which are present in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) official list, informed KASE on membership in two leading international professional associations International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) and International Capital Market Association (ICMA). EDB submitted application were considered and satisfied by the ISDA Board of Directors and ICMA Membership Committee.
The membership in these international professional associations will allow EDB continuous improvement of its market risks management system in compliance with current market trends, participation in development and discussion of legal documents. EDB will also received floor to share lessons learned with other financial markets participants.

Eurasian Development Bank is an international financial organization founded in January 2006 by Russian and Kazakhstan to facilitate the market economy development of member countries, their sustainable economic growth and extension of mutual trade and economic relations. The EDB authorized capital exceeds USD1.5 bn. Member countries of EDB are Russia, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Tajikistan.

International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) was founded in 1985 and has about 800 members from 57 countries. ISDA specializes on identification and reduction of risks in derivative financial instruments area International Capital Market Association (ICMA) - created in 1969 counts has 350 members from 45 countries. ICMA plays the key role in creation of global financial market framework based on modern economy and production rules and recommendations.
