OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2010. Mr. Satkaliyev, the President of KEGOC took part in the Regional Forum for Local Procurement Content Development, which was held in Taraz City chaired by the First Vice Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

The Forum was attended by the Government Ministers, CEOs of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, state owned companies, heads of the local authorities of Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, Almaty Oblasts and the representatives of the enterprises of the South Kazakhstan region.

In 2010 KEGOC plans to procure goods, works and services in Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan and Almaty Oblasts to the total amount of KZT 387.88 mln. with the local content of KZT 284.76 mln. including KZT 90.36 mln. in Zhambyl Oblast, KZT 76.87 mln. in South-Kazakhstan Oblast and KZT 117.53 mln. in Almaty Oblast.

During the Forum the local suppliers of Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan and Almaty Oblasts signed 6 memoranda of cooperation to the total amount of KZT 234.85 mln. including:

TOO ASPMK-519 – KZT 133.239 mln. (supporting towers and ferroconcrete products);

ZHERSU METAL JSC – KZT 13.896 mln. (metal structures);

Kentau Transformer Plant JSC – KZT 1.555 mln. (6, 10, 35 kV transformers);

Zhambyl GRES Power Plant named after Baturov – KZT 57.600 mln (Power Control);

TOO TarazKozhObuv’ – KZT 5 mln. (special purpose footwear);

TOO Gimarat - KZT 20 mln. (ferroconcrete products).
