OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2010. “RusNeft” and the Government of Ulianovsk region have signed the Agreement on Cooperation for 2010-2012. The document determining the principal priorities of interaction and the parameters of cooperation for the current year, the persons who have signed the document – the President of OAO NK “RussNeft” Oleg Gordeev and the Governor of Ulianovsk Region Sergei Morozov.

The Agreement makes provisions for joint work of the Parties in the field of development resource and industrial potential of the Region, environment protection activity, participation in social programs. At that the volume of production in accordance with the business-plan of the holding’s enterprises functioning at the territory of the Region is determined in amount of 745 thousand tons which is 5% more than the analogous figure of the last year.

In 2010 “RussNeft” and its subsidiaries will assign for geological studies, production engineering and monitoring of oilfields development at the territory of  Ulianovsk region more than 10 million rubles. At that the sum assigned at implementation of environment protection programs, industrial security, fire safety and labor protection in the current year will amount to 6.3 million rubles.   

According to the document OAO NK “RussNeft” will participate in implementation of social projects in Ulianovsk region and create favorable conditions for solution of economic problems of the Region. In 2010 “RussNeft” will assign about 15 million rubles for implementation of social and economic programs, charity and sponsor projects at the territory of Ulianovsk Region. Among the propriety recipients of these funds there are children’s educational, sport, cultural and social institutions of the region, organizations rendering assistance to invalids. “RussNeft” will also take part in financing of events and projects aimed at development of the areas of industrial activity of the holding, including Melekessky, Radishchevsky, Novospassky, Nikolayevsky, Cherdaklinsly, Novomalyklinsky districts.

As a responsible employer “RussNeft” is going toassign in 2010 substantial means for social protection of the employees of the Company’s subsidiaries in the region. Thus, the holding is assigning 25.5 million rubles for fulfillment of social obligations within the frames of the existing collective labor agreements  these funds will be spent for rendering financial help to the employees and pensioners of the enterprises, arrangement of vacations for the employees and their families, preschool institutions for employees’ children. “RussNeft” is going to assign not less than 5 million rubles for organization of cultural and sport events for the employees of Ulianovsk subsidiaries and 3 million rubles  - for financing of vacations at sanatoriums and resorts.
