OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2010. A mutual cooperation agreement between OAO NK “Russneft” and the government of Orenburg region was signed today. The document covers the key parameters of the partnership of oil holding and the region for the three year period. The President of OAO NK “Russneft” Oleg Gordeev and the governor of Orenburg region Alexey Chernyshov participated in the ceremony of signing.

The agreement  is directed toward resolution of questions of social and economic development of the region, improvement of the investment climate  and stable development of the economy of the territory, support and the development of its scientific and technical potential.

The agreement determines the main production and social parameters of the activity of subsidiary of holding acting at  the territory of the region. Thus, the volume of sales of  OAO “Orenburgnefteprodukt”, the largest gas filling network of the region, provided by the business-plan of the holding, in the present year will compose 624,13 thousand tons, which is by 6% more than the index of 2009; OAO “Orsknefteorgsintez” economic output  will amount to 5 mln. tons.

Meanwhile the holding will direct 12,7 mln. rubles to implementation of socially significant projects of the region, charitable and sponsor programs in the present year.

The company traditionally from year to year renders aid to agricultural producers of Orenburg region, allowing substantial discounts on its own oil products in the period of field works. In 2010 OAO NK “Russneft” is intended to continue the implementation of the support program of the Orenburg region agribusiness, preserving 10% discount on oil products for the agricultural sector of the region for the period of sowing and harvesting campaigns.

Oleg Gordeev, the President of NK “Russneft”, highly estimated the meaningful      dialogue between “Russneft” and administration of the region and emphasized that the partnership of the holding and the Orenburg region government is based on the principles of mutually advantageous cooperation and is directed to the effective solution of  social and economic tasks of the region.
