OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2010. Today, CEO of JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines Vitaly Savelyev and Air France President Pierre-Henry Gourgeon have signed a Code Sharing Agreement. The Agreement for joint flight operation will replace the existing agreement as of 2002 for the Moscow – Paris – Moscow line. The new agreement is designed to enhance commercial cooperation between the companies, with the existing terms of cooperation on the air line connecting the two capitals remaining in force, and at the same time opening new opportunities for joint flights beyond Moscow and Paris, thus enlarging the code-sharing geography of the companies.

JSC Aeroflot and Air France offer their passengers eight daily flights between Moscow and Paris, performing four own flights a day.

At the moment, Aeroflot and Air France have agreed on the list of destinations beyond Moscow for Aeroflot-operated flights, and destinations beyond Paris for Air France-operated flights within the code-sharing program. The achieved agreements can be implemented after they are approved by the both countries’ aviation authorities.
