OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2010. Belgazprombank’s Mogilev-based branch has been recognised the best financial institution providing services to entrepreneurs, and the branch director Vladislava Kiktenko has won the ‘Best Professional’ title.

The city governor Peter Rudnik stated in his welcoming speech that ‘entrepreneurship is the most mobile and effective sector of economy in any country, because private businesses, being in a constant search for optimal forms and methods of management, save material and power resources, provide fast money turnovers, create jobs and increase well-being of the population’.

The contribution of small and medium sized businesses to economic development of the Mogilev region grows steadily. Last year, the private sector accounted for 27% of the region’s budget receipts – a 3.5% rise on 2008.
