OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2010. Intourist, the largest vertically integrated tourist holding of Russia, has signed the cooperation agreement with Ministry of trade and enterprise development of Perm Krai, on 15 March, 2010.

The agreement is focused on measures of external and internal traveling encouraging that should be realized by Intourist together with Perm administration. Partnership will lead to the tourist flow increase in Perm Krai and help to promote the territory in Russia and abroad. Intourist and Ministry may organize the united workshop that will create special programs supporting tourist branch of the region and make Perm more attractive for tourists.

Cooperation between Intourist and Perm administration will spread on:

Creation of the joint actions program

Establishing of the regular mutual information exchange

Sending representatives of the organizations to organized joint activities

Cooperation and teamwork over methodical materials and programs

Regular consultations and workshops increasing the level of cooperation effectiveness

The agreement was sighned by Alexander Arutyunov, President of VAO Intourist, and Dmitry Sazonov, the deputy minister of trade and enterprise development of Perm Krai.

Alexander Arutyunov, President of VAO Intourist, noted: “Perm Krai possesses huge potential for development of internal and incoming tourism. I am convinced that joint efforts with a regional administration will help to raise tourist appeal of region essentially, including including foreign tourist market. Currently we develop several new mutually advantageous programs”.

Dmitry Sazonov, the deputy minister of trade and enterprise development of Perm Krai, commented: “I’m sure that cooperation with the leading tourist holding of Russia will help to increase the tourism activity in Perm Krai and to promote our territory on federal level and all over the world. Intourist experts have the richest experience in area of incoming and internal tourism”.
