OREANDA-NEWS. March 25, 2010. Conceptual aspects of Russian-Qatari cooperation were among the subjects discussed at the meeting. Cooperation in the gas sector was a focus of attention, as were opportunities for developing bilateral cooperation in other priority areas such as peaceful use of nuclear energy and strengthening ties between law enforcement agencies, including on combating international terrorism and other modern threats and challenges.

An exchange of views on international issues and global and regional matters also took place.

The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister is visiting Moscow at the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
