OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2010. Following reports in the mass media about possible participation of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) in the KC-X tanker contract on supply of air tankers to the U.S.A.F., the United Aircraft Corporation makes a statement that the information being broadcast and published on that matter with reference to Mr. John Kirkland is inaccurate.

“UAC is not planning to take part in the tanker tender or set up a joint venture”, said Alexey I. Fedorov, UAC president and chairman of executive board. He added that he was not familiar with Mr.Kirkland, who was being used by the media as a source about plans of the Corporation.
